But it is an expensive method relative to the FUE method because it is a newly and technological method. Basically, DHI follows the same procedures like the FUE method. The main difference between direct hair implement and follicular unit extraction is, surgeons manually cut your scalp to take grafts and follicles in the FUE but, in the DHI surgeons use a tool like a pen and it cuts and takes hair follicles at the same time. The rest of the procedures are the same.

All in all, we can say that the FUE and the DHI basically the same methods. Even we can call DHI to micro FUE. But, of course, the innovations brought by technology are present in the method.
