Your surgical wounds are expected to recover within a month. Since you are not allowed to even touch your hair during the first 5 days of your recovery, you can wash your hair very gently after this time.

When you wash your hair, you should not pull your hair strands, be very gentle and after your washing is completed, you should rinse your hair very gently. It is for your own best to wash your hair not so often because your hair follicles will need your scalp oil during the recovery.
